The objective of this event is to achieve participation in the simultaneous vote of the My World 2030 survey. On September 21, the video of the My World 2030 survey will be published.

A dialogue with all of the members of the national network of diverse youth is planned to strengthen knowledge on issues of Agenda 2030. The session will be recorded and uploaded on the YouTube channel for the National Network of Diverse Youth.

There will be a conversation on September 21st in which panelists will address issues surrounding SDGs, delving into the characteristics of each one.

The SDGs chosen are SDG 3, Ensuring Healthy Living and Promoting Wellness for All Ages, SDG 4, Ensuring inclusive, equitable, quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all, SDG 5, Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, SDG 10, Reducing Inequality in and Between Countries, SDG 12, Ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns, SDG 15, Protecting, restoring and promoting the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, implementing sustainable forest management, combating desertification, halting and reversing land degradation and halting the loss of biodiversity, SDG 16, promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, facilitating access to justice for all and building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels, and SDG 17, strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing the global partnership for sustainable development.

GGWCUP Saudi Arabia 2021

Global Goals World Cup (GGWCUP) is coming to Saudi Arabia for the first time in partnership with the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA). They are changemakers in their way of recognizing the value of sports for the SDGs and access to sports for women.

The SFA is the main player for developing community sports and is mandated with achieving a target of raising physical activity levels to 40% by 2030.

The 30 teams play for SDG 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 and Goal 17.

UN Food Systems Summit

The UN Food Systems Summit will take place on Thursday, September 23, 2021, and will serve as a historic opportunity to empower all people to leverage the power of food systems to drive our recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and get us back on track to achieve all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

Over the past 18 months, the Summit has brought together all UN Member States and constituencies around the world – including thousands of youth, food producers, Indigenous Peoples, civil society, researchers, private sector, and the UN system – to bring about tangible, positive changes to the world’s food systems. As a people’s summit and a solutions summit, it has recognized that everyone, everywhere must take action and work together to transform the way the world produces, consumes, and thinks about food.

For the sixth consecutive year, MY World México is co-hosting the Global Week to #Act4SDGs (17-28 September) for Latin America and the Caribbean. The Global Week aims to drive collective action, mobilizing key stakeholders from all sectors to drive change while reminding world leaders that people around the world are doing their part to accelerate progress on the SDGs. Held during the high-level week of the United Nations General Assembly, this year’s mobilization will also drive action around the Food Systems Summit, pre-COP in Milan, and keep up momentum in the lead up to COP 26 in Glasgow.
