Global Goals World Cup (GGWCUP) is coming to Saudi Arabia for the first time in partnership with the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA). They are changemakers in their way of recognizing the value of sports for the SDGs and access to sports for women.
The SFA is the main player for developing community sports and is mandated with achieving a target of raising physical activity levels to 40% by 2030.
The 30 teams play for SDG 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 and Goal 17.

JCI RISE Day is a full day dedicated to highlighting the work that has been done under JCI’s COVID response initiative, JCI RISE (Rebuild, Invest, Sustain, Evolve), and the SDGs that it addresses.

The September edition of the SDG Investment Fair will connect private investors with projects that support SDG implementation in developing countries. Select countries will present investment-ready projects to a pool of participating investors. For over a year, countries have struggled to address a pandemic that respects no borders, destroys lives and livelihoods, and deepens pre-existing global challenges like inequality, climate change and education. With less than a decade left to meet the Sustainable Development Goals, the fully virtual Sustainable Development Impact Summit 2021, hosted alongside the United Nations General Assembly, will bring together global leaders from diverse sectors, disciplines and geographies. Ensuring the world exits the pandemic stronger than it entered it will only be possible if leaders work together across sectors and borders to share and deploy know-how, innovation and promising approaches and accelerate the recovery.
