Global Goals World Cup Nigeria is a 5 aside football tournament for all-women teams. Each team champions one of the SDGs, and is ranked by the action taken for their Goal on and off the field. The teams are scored in four distinct categories: Action, Crowd, Style and Football. Those awarded not only win a tournament. They amplify their calls to action and create impact, locally and globally.

One Young World Documentary Launch
A documentary commissioned by Ovation TV, America’s only arts network, entitled The Young Leaders – One Young World Stories. This celebratory film charts the progress of six remarkable young leaders from across the world, all of whom have been supported by the organisation One Young World.
The film is being produced by Blue Planet Films; directed by Bruce Robertson.
WaterBear’s ‘Youth Unstoppable’ Premiere Screening
On behalf of WaterBear, you are invited to the Goals House premiere screening of a new feature documentary, Youth Unstoppable, by the extraordinary young climate activist Slater Jewell-Kemker.
This will be taking place over UNGA week, on Thursday, September 23rd at 5pm at The Standard High Line.
Global Goals Community Activity Day
Madrasati will launch a Global Goals Community Day for students, teachers and parents to promote SDG 4 Quality Education and SDG 5 Gender Equality. This SDGs Community Day will be full with interactive awareness sessions for teachers and parents about SDGs, art sessions for students and tele-match games for all to promote essential life skills (teamwork, leadership, collaboration, etc.) to contribute to inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Camp 2030
Camp 2030 is a 6-day Innovation Lab, bringing together top Youth Leaders from across the globe for innovation and co-creation for the UN SDGs. During Camp, Changemakers work in teams to develop innovative and scalable solutions to critical global challenges. Following the event, they then receive further knowledge & resources to bring the innovations to life! Camp 2030 is available through application only, but final pitches may be open to the public. Global Citizen Festival
On September 24, Global Citizen will be hosting their 10 Year Anniversary Festival on the Great Lawn of Central Park, as well as in Accra, Ghana. This will be a mix of pop and policy to mobilize commitments to End Extreme Poverty NOW.
UN Private Sector Forum
At the start of the high-level opening week of the 77th General Assembly, the UN Private Sector Forum will convene Chief Executives and representatives from Governments, the UN and development agencies to address and align on an urgent and collective course of action in addressing cascading and interlinked global crises. To support the UN Secretary-General’s Global Crisis Response Group, global leaders at the Private Sector Forum will address the five-point renewable energy plan in the context of just transition, finance and progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
GBBC’s Blockchain Central UNGA
The Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) will convene its fifth annual Blockchain Central UNGA alongside the UN General Assembly, as an official partner of Global Goals Week.
GBBC’s Blockchain Central UNGA will take place in New York City and bring together thought leaders and changemakers across blockchain, government, technology, and business to examine how we can employ blockchain and tech-based solutions to accelerate progress towards the UN’s SDGs.

2022 Philippine Young Leaders’ Convergence
Held annually since 2017, the Philippine Young Leaders’ Convergence (formerly National Young Leaders’ Conference) has been the largest multi-sectoral convergence of young grassroots leaders for the Global Goals.
With the theme “Making-bisug, Kabatan-unan: Regenerating Youth-centered Impetus towards Helping Achieve Sustainable and Inclusive Development Post-Pandemic”, the PYLC 2022 will be held in the City of General Santos on October 12-15, 2022.
