The UN Solutions Summit is a catalytic gathering that lifts-up and accelerates the work of exceptional innovators who are developing solutions to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Central to ethos of the Solutions Summit is the belief that there are extraordinary people doing extraordinary things all over the world and that their success is integral to ensuring we achieve the global goals by 2030. The fifth annual convening will feature four-minute lightning talks by the newest cohort of Solutions Summit entrepreneurs on their groundbreaking work in the SDG Media Zone at UNHQ. The path to large-scale uptake of viable solutions is long and arduous for any innovator that embarks on the journey, requiring a rich ecosystem of support. As such, these lightning talks will be preceded by tailored acceleration sessions for each innovator with a diverse network of investors, philanthropist, experts, and industry leaders to provide them with the guidance and tools they need to grow and scale their impact. The UN Solutions Summit is organized by the UN Foundation, shift7, Local2030 and the Global Innovation Exchange.
