Global Week to Act for SDGs

By UN SDG Action Campaign

The Global Week to Act for SDGs is an annual call for individuals and organisations across the world to come together to accelerate action for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs, also known as Global Goals). Held during the UN General Assembly and Global Goals Week, and coinciding with the anniversary of the Goals on September 25th, the Global Week to #Act4SDGs connects activations taking place in thousands of cities and communities across the globe with world-leaders gathered in New York, to send a strong message calling for an acceleration of action on the Agenda 2030 and inspire the world to take action for the Goals.

The 2019 mobilization has already started, and everyone is invited to join! From 20 to 30 September, thousands of schools, local governments, youth groups, universities, networks, foundations, UN agencies, civil society organisations, and individuals in all world regions are organising SDG actions and mobilizing their communities. Organise an action, activate your network, or see the actions taking place near you, and join the global movement taking action for the Sustainable Development Goals.
