We are delighted to invite you to the 3rd edition of the Learning and Skills for Sustainable Youth Development Dialogue series, a pivotal education and skills building event co-hosted by World Scouting and SAP on the sides of the 79th UN General Assembly and The Summit of the Future.

This joint event will focus on two crucial themes: “Environmental Sustainability and the Role of Youth-Led Action” and “Future Skills and the Impact of Technology and Artificial Intelligence on Learning Pathways.

Globally rooted, locally led culture and heritage approaches

Culture and heritage shape how we connect with others, how we see the challenges around us, and how we choose to respond to them.

This event will explore the crucial role of local actors and actions for supporting sustainable development by showcasing how local cultural and heritage projects help address global challenges, with a focus on climate change.

Empowering Youth to Drive Global Change: Local Actions for a Just World

A robust day of programming and collaboration with 150 students representing 27 schools. Join us with your voice and ideas on progress for the SDGs, local activation and leadership.

SDG Impact Award – Launch Event

InnerView and United Nations Association USA officially launch the 8th Annual SDG Youth Impact Awards.

This year-long journey offers opportunities for US High School students and communities to be recognized for personal action for the SDGs. In 2023-24 more than 18,000 students earned honors and delivered progress to create a better world for all.

SDG Challenge Miami 2024

The SDG Challenge Miami is a student competition that delivers a transformational journey to mobilize companies, organizations, universities, and students to advance the UN SDGs and contribute to the region’s sustainable growth. The Challenge serves as a platform to activate college students to critically think about present-day sustainability topics and stimulates action to work together with leading companies in South Florida.

Planet Positive 2030 Miami

Accountable Impact in collaboration with IEEE, the world’s largest Technological Association focused on Advancing Technology for Humanity, Miami Dade College Earth Ethics Institute is launching Planet Positive 2030 Miami. Miami community members will come together to Imagine the Future We Can Build Together for how a “Planet Positive” Miami will look in 2030 in alignment with the UN SDGs.

ACTIVATING SDG 5- Bridging the Gap between Women’s Health and Women’s Economic Empowerment

As World leaders come together in the 79th UNGA to discuss on the theme “Leaving no one behind: acting together for the advancement of peace, sustainable development and human dignity for present and future generations” and with the upcoming Summit of the Future, one key conversation to be prioritized is on accelerating access towards attaining the Sustainable Development Goal 5. This is based on the fact that SDG 5 is still a long way from fulfillment, especially in developing countries.

Private Sector Forum

This year’s Forum will bring together 50 influential leaders—including CEOs, investors, Heads of State and Government and senior UN officials—for a candid, forward-looking dialogue on how to scale up private capital for sustainable and inclusive development.
